Processing of Personal Data

Dear Guests,

We are delighted that you have chosen our inn for your vacation and relaxation.

The controller of personal data—that is, the person who determines the purpose and means of processing your personal data—is Martina Ševčíková.

The contact information for the person responsible for data protection is: slnecnydomujazera@gmail.com, phone number: +420 733 562 605.

And now, regarding the purpose for which we process your personal data and what personal data we process:

We process your personal data for the purpose of entering into and properly fulfilling the obligations arising from the accommodation agreement concluded between you, as guests, and the accommodation provider. We obtain this personal data directly from you, either by phone or via email when making reservations. In order to provide our services to you, we need to know your identification information (first name, last name, date of birth, permanent address, ID number) and contact information (phone number, email address, mailing address, or other information, as applicable). If you provide us with your personal data but a contract is not subsequently concluded and you do not actually stay with us, we will not retain your personal data. We process your personal data only for as long as necessary and for the purpose of exercising our rights and fulfilling our obligations; at the same time, we do not process any additional personal data that we do not absolutely need.

We will retain and process the personal data listed above not only for the duration of your stay but also until the end of the complaint period or the period during which any claims related to the services provided may be asserted or enforced.

While the provision of personal data is entirely voluntary, it is also a condition for entering into a contract for accommodation and our related services—without your personal data, we cannot enter into a contract or provide you with accommodation. At the same time, however, we would like to inform you that if you provide such personal data, we will not process it for any purpose other than that described above.

Under no circumstances will we transfer your personal data outside the EU or to any international organization, nor do we plan to do so in the future.

As a data subject—that is, the individual whose personal data is being processed—you naturally have a number of rights regarding your personal data, and we want to make it as easy as possible for you to exercise them. These rights include:

  1. The right to access your personal data – this means you have the right to request that we provide you with information about what personal data we process about you.
  2. The right to rectification of personal data – this means you have the right to ensure that the personal data we process for the purposes listed above is accurate, up-to-date, and complete. If you find that this is not the case, please request that it be corrected or updated—we will take immediate action to rectify the situation!
  3. The right to erasure (also known as the right to be forgotten)—this means that we are obligated to erase your personal data if we process it for a period longer than specified above, or if we do not have a valid legal basis for such processing. We also inform you that we cannot erase your data in cases where processing is carried out based on the performance of a contract or a legal obligation, even if you request it—in such a case, we will inform you of this within one month, stating the reason.
  4. The right to request restriction of processing—this means you have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data if you contest the accuracy of your personal data, or if the processing of personal data is unlawful and has not yet been erased, or you have objected to the processing—in which case we will restrict processing until the legitimacy of your objection has been assessed.
  5. Right to object – this means that you are entitled to object in cases where processing is carried out on the basis of a legitimate interest. If you object to the sending of marketing communications, we will always comply with your objection. Unless we can demonstrate that our legitimate grounds for processing your personal data override your interests, rights, and freedoms, we will no longer process your personal data.
  6. Right to Withdraw Consent to Processing – this means that you have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time in cases where your consent is required (e.g., sending marketing communications).
  7. Right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority – this means that if we fail to act for more than one month, you have the right to contact the supervisory authority, which is the Office for Personal Data Protection, and file a complaint.

  1. You may exercise all of the rights described above electronically; however, we must verify your identity. In such a case, you may send your request to the email address slnecnydomujazera@gmail.com and include a valid electronic signature in the email, which serves as sufficient proof of the applicant’s identity for us.

If we are not 100% certain of your identity, we are entitled (and, after all, to maintain the highest level of protection, we are also obligated) to ask you to provide additional information to confirm your identity.
