Tips for trips

Because Hrubá Borša boasts the most beautiful golf course in Slovakia, but if you don't play golf, you will certainly find plenty of other uses:

• We recommend even NON-golfers to go to the golf club in Borša, they have a beautiful outdoor seating area overlooking the course and the lake. It's a great place to drink coffee or beer :) They cook there too!
• Directly in Borša you can ride on horseback (Danube Polo Club).
• Badminton, tennis and fitness at Borša (Greenfit).
• Museum of Beekeeping in Králové pri Senec.
• In the warm season we recommend visiting Slnečná jezera (8 min. by car), public transport also runs (line 659). You can enjoy bathing and water attractions right at the lakes or a train circling the entire lakes. We recommend visiting both sides of the lakes, you'll find plenty of restaurants and playgrounds. In winter there is a wellness and aquapark.
• Water Mill in Jelka, Tomášov and Kolárov.
• Tiger Zoo in Kostolná pri Dunaji. (3 min. by car)
• Slovenský Grob (20 min by car) is the kingdom of the GOOSE roast. For goose feast only there.
• Zlaté Piesky - do you like adrenaline? Try WAKEBOARDING, also offers lessons with a trainer.
• Bratislava - the beautiful historical center and of course the dominant feature of the capital Bratislava Castle (within 30 min.by car).
• UFO - another Bratislava landmark. Ufo is not only a restaurant overlooking the whole city, but you can go up just to the viewpoint.
