Most of the golf course in Hrubá Borša is situated on a typical South Slovak plain. The fairways are, however, beautifully shaped into interesting patterns that are interrupted by bunkers or water levels. The latest look of the fairways and greens has been added by internationally renowned shaper - Englishman Chris Horn. The charm and charm of the Golf Green Resort Hrubá Borša golf course is added by the floodplain forest, in the middle of which there are eight holes, fully or partially integrated into the course, with striking mostly leafy trees. The same applies to the water. Lakes touch half of the eighteen fairways, including the island green on hole 16.
The course is "fair play" with a minimum of high reefs. Golfers are not penalized for good play. With its total length of 6661 m and many natural obstacles, the golf course creates favourable conditions for an interesting and challenging game for experienced players. The perfect design of the fairways is contrasted by a large number of white sand bunkers. Some of them stretch spectacularly into lakes and create the impression of a beach. Also interesting are the waste bunkers (large sandy areas) on holes 3, 4, 15 and 17, which give the impression of a North American desert.
The intention is to give good players and beginners alike the opportunity to thoroughly enjoy the game at the Hrubá Borša Green Resort. Players can also take advantage of the 9-hole public course (PAR 28) public, which is a great challenge for beginners and advanced players due to the number of natural and modelled hazards (971 yards from the yellow tees and 779 red tees). You can also use the indoor floodlit driving range, the 800 m2 putting green and the 2500 m2 chipping area and practice bunker for practice and practice.
